Q) Where can I find the colour code for my bike?
A) Usually on the underside of the tank or in the service record book. Its the last three numbers/digits ie 33J Pearl Novelty Black YC2 Candy Grand Blue
Q) Why does my bike seem to wallow round corners, the front end doesn't feel right.
A) Usually tired suspension. You'll notice a big difference changing the front springs and the shock. Check the tyre pressures are the correct psi.
Q) What upside down forks are the best to fit in the 1200 without getting too technical?
A) The GSXR1100M are the easiest. The Bandit wheel will go in. You'll need to press the steering stem from the original forks into the upside downies.
Q) What does a 14 Tooth front sprocket do?
A) One tooth less on the front increases the torque by about 7%. You'll lose about 8-10mph top speed but you'll have a lot more fun getting there!! On the new shape Bandits, with the electronic speedo taking the reading off the front sprocket, you'll find the bike recording slightly more miles than you've actually done. When your speedo is showing 60mph you will actually be doing about 57-58mph
Q) Will I need to rejet after fitting a race can?
A) As a rule if the tuned length of the can remains the same and the positioning has not altered then no. All bikes run better once they've been balanced to the can.
